Business Opportunities
Each month, we are going to spend time looking into unique business opportunities for our Members. Each time a new business opportunity is added, we will send out an email notice to the entire membership base. If you are a member of LCS and would like to recommend a specific opportunity, you can do so by submitting your information to us at thefabonethousand@gmail.com.
Keep in mind when doing so that a certain criteria must be met in order for a business opportunity to be listed here. The following components will be taken into consideration before we lend our name, brand and credibility to any business opportunity…
Demand – Is the product or service being sold something that a large majority of the general public would find useful? For those Members of ours who are willing to put in the work, is there already a market for the product or service? We will not recommend any business that is specific to only a tiny fraction of the general public.
Support – If one of our Members decides to take advantage of this opportunity, what is the support framework? What type of training will they receive up front and what type of ongoing support is available?
Exposure – How will the Member be asked to market this product or service? Is there a website generated? Are there other online marketing tools available? Offline, what are the marketing tools available such as business cards, flyers, postcards, etc?
Up Front Costs – How much will it cost “out of pocket” for one of our Members to get started in this business? What do they get for that initial investment?
Return On Investment – What should the average person expect as far as a return on investment? Does your company have tangible proven numbers generated by already existing operators that can be shared prior to anyone making a commitment?
Financing – These days it is more difficult to secure a business loan. What type of financing is available for those who are interested in your opportunity?
Location – Is this a home based business, an internet based business, or does it require a storefront?
Inventory – What type of inventory and/or equipment, tools or supplies will our Member have to secure in order to get started with your business opportunity?
Royalties – What does the parent company get in exchange for one of our Members joining your company? Is there a certain percentage of the revenue that should not be factored into the Return On Investment?
References – Can you provide a list of at least five or more people who are already involved in this business? If so, can we perform some detailed due diligence on our end to ensure the business model is sound?
